sorry about that Fatty - I really gotta try and get it so I can hear voice better. I don't even remeber what I was thinking at the time, the game went so fast. I do remeber running around looking for a manta or a raptor at one point, going through a bunch of node. I saw their tank take a u turn to head back to their '1' node and I wanted to take it out. Did any one get demos of the matches? I think it would be cool if they were posted somewhere.

Hurray for our team I dont think the other team even stood a chance - I am still shocked with how quick the match went. We must be pretty good or somethin

Either day is fine by me, don't care about the second map - I just want to play!

Bunch of us where in mobo, but I still cant hear chat too well so I dont know whats going on, I will check back in a little while, but my kids need some attention from me right now so I dont know if I will be back in time.

Welcome to the forums dinner... err... cutelittlerabbit I have been noticing a lot more lag recently. Its worse for me than when I joined. I hate to say it, but to be honest with ya, I probably would have not joined and stopped playing on the server if it was like this when I first started playing here. I dont think it would hurt to try 18 peeps since it does seem to get worse when it is full. Of course, this means it will be harder for me to get in, but may be very well worth it.

Ill be there, and at both practices also - although I may be a little late to the one tomorrow. Just meet in the server? I must make a mental note to be sure to pick up a head set tomorrow.

Come to think of it we may want to reconsider playing ArcticStronghold. It's the exact same node layout as red planet, and if that's their ideal node layout, we may not want to excite them and make them happy. Dawn may be better for a first time match since it is a map that does not have any one key node which allows for more freedom of play and less planning and rushing.

00b3rN00b, I like your Torlan strat. although I would add one thing, I think the person with the raptor needs to be aware of the tank if the two mantas fail at preventing that node from coming up. Most importantly I think we need to have a set plan for each map and know it ahead of time, I dont know how it is for everyone else, but my voip is iffy at best. MHO for Red Planet: (I am assuming the levi is in it) 2 on each manta, 1 in the Raptor and 1 in the Levi 1 manta to the middle node 1 manta to the first node The Levi to the first node and should stay put and defend that node, holding that first node no matter what is the key. Raptor goes right away to annoy/damage their levi After the two people at the first node bring that one up, the two people at the center node should bring that up - do not grab the damage amp until the node is up. Then one person, with the amp, heads to their first node and takes it out with a shock rifle, with the amp it only takes a few seconds. (the other person should head there as well) I would guess their levi would be near by at this point, and since the raptor is bugging them it should not be in that super-duper utterly insane killing mode, making it possible to take out that node without too much problem. We may not be able to bring that node up with their levi near by and we shouldn't worry about that right away, we should just make sure it stays down long enough to get the other two nodes in the center up. Meanwhile, one of the two people on the manta that went to the first node should hang back with the levi with an avil and help defend the levi/node 1. The other person can head to either one of the other two nodes, the ones in the center on the sides and try and get those up. Once all three center ones are up everyone can move in to their first node, although we may want to consider leaving someone with the levi still at the first node just in case. I hope all that made sense

hehe - I actually have tried the format option, not just for that problem, I seem to get weird disconnect problems. Some days everything works fine, other days I can spend an hour trying to get connected and stay connected. Oh well... I am just going to mess around with it and see what I can do - its good to know that people accidently press it, I dindt think about that.

I can make either time. I just hope I can get decent pings on whatever server we play. As for the other map, I dont care, never really played Artic without the deemer, and that will probably change everything - at least it will be fair. Usually whoever gets the deemer first in that map wins the round.

I can play whenever - it's easy to call in and not work to play UT when you are your own boss I really gotta get a mic though and figure out how I can get the voice chat to work better. Anyone know of any links to help troubleshoot/improve it? It actually works, but 90% of the time I just see the picture pop up and can't hear anything.
