I like A cuz it tells where the server is located. Getting rid of the numbers is good cuz that might be considered a "ranking" system for the servers, and theyre all equally good, just depends on where you live. MW, NE, etc. are too vague. They could stand for anything. I've seen people with tags of "CFD", and when asked, it most certainly was not even Close to C_______ Fire Department. (personally, I liked GAMERSCOALITION in the name cuz it made it super easy to pick it out of the list of servers since the favorites option is messed up. No biggy though, I usually start from steam off my desktop since the Favorites option works there.) My two cents, (I stole that line from another regular in gc, can't remember who. ), which is more like 2/10s of a cent.

Thanks for the ideas guys! The only sponsor who has any kind of stipulations is Bawls, who want to be guaranteed to be the only drink sponsor at the event. If we could get a coffee shop to sponsor us , they may cry foul. Perhaps a food joint with a discount that sells coffee would be the more feasible route. Now, last year they did give us a lot of stuff. I cannot guarantee the same amount this year cuz last year I complained about 2004, and I received bawlz packages in the mail on 3 different days. This could be due to them trying to make up for 2004, or for different people hearing my plight without knowing salesman #2 had already sent something out. Whatever the reason, they sent a lot of stuff last year and I will do my best to receive the same amount this year!

Ive been seeing that No Steam Log On thingy alot in the past week . Was wondering what it was. Saw it on a bunch of players when they left the game , (or perhaps they were dropped, now that were talking about it). The other day when we were playing Wayfarer, I IDed someones porn spray to warn them and when i copied and pasted their name, yours got pasted. I mustve had it copied from something else, cuz I did verify that it was someone elses the second time I tried, so I could see how someone could accidentally be booted, (course, the admin wouldve apologized, if he hadnt left by the time you came back) (And we all know that Crom doesnt approve of porn sprays anyway.....)

I was not aware that Barry was the owner of XGS! I could expect this sort of behavior from an employee , but not from the owner. He obviously has a lot on his mind, or he needs to get a better spokesperson.

You know, if you get more then 7, you can lower the price. Ill kick in $25. And I'll vote to go with the other guys. XGS sounds like a small company, and Barry is not very professional , which speaks for the company and the way its run. They cant give us 100 tik. Their price is the same without the other company even giving us a break.

Barry is quite obviously not going to take any kind of criticism well. How long have you dealt with Sam? He may have some issues as well that wont present themselves until he deals with us for a couple of months. Could it be an issue with the update? What steps would Sam take to fix that as compared with what Barry can do for us? How long has GC dealt with XGS? It would seem to me that this is a very competitive market and that it may be the nature of the business to have to switch providers, or at least reevaluate their service compared to other companies, every 2 years or so, (like car insurance). Barry wants a certain amount of time to try to fix the issue. Did he ever say, "Hey Don, could you give me (insert period of time here) to fix this for you?" I would think that the extras he has given GC would warrant us to at least give him some time to fix it. Of course , you did give him 2 weeks. Not being in the computer field, do the rest of GC members feel that this is enough time to fix it? Just my 2 cents. If GC has to move on then so be it, but no need to burn any bridges behind us if we can help it. I apologize if any of these answers were missed by me in the thread. Thanks for your understanding.
