I think the 1st patch that came out for ut2k4 fixed the CD thing Cannon... I haven't used a CD in a long time There shouldn't be a charge for any online game that isn't fully hosted, moderated etc. Technically all a "master server" needs to be is a text document or lame database with a list of all the servers and corresponding IP addresses..

in our old TAM strats we used to refer to key tank spots as PLCS 1, PLCS 2 etc that would be penty lame camping spot 1, 2

Unlinked node in the center is a good idea, this configuration will minimize bottlenecking a bit and give a weak team a fighting chance.. what I want to know is where is PLCS 1?

Folks, I've always been one of these guys that hates everything to do with reality shows, celebrity gossip, dumb fashion trends... I hate myspace with a passion, etc. But lately I've found myself slipping. I have a weakness: I love it when celebs get arrested and end up going to prison. Am I a sellout for being interested in how long Lohan will spend in jail?? I usually ignore all the crap that floats across my TV screen ... but if some spoiled rich "icon" that comes from a wretched family of liars and drug users gets stripped of her fake glory and is tossed in the slammer and it's TELEVISED... well you can count me in buddy. Does that make me sick, or am I ok?

I always play with weapon models off so I don't care how big they are... for some reason UT has guns that are almost as big as the player models... they must weigh 200lbs! Orb sounds fruity.. Might be able to disable this? Most people that get in turrets can't aim standing still let alone moving around like a lamer train, have fun! Hey nothing wrong with a little in-game comedy.. personally I hope friendly fire DOES knock you off the board..that way when I see a teammate trying to look cool I'll shoot him off a cliff for not helping us. We could just create a "novolume" admin command that works just like the freeze command.. look how slow ur moving now punk! I think anything that attracts a wide variety of player types with different interests is a good thing. As far as our server, we just have to establish what is and isn't acceptable with regard to friendly and competative play. I will definately re-up as admin, as I know there will be plenty of bans to lay down in the early goings.. WOOOO
