I added tweaks from this thread and also the one pinned at the top of this forum, my hits seem alot better but the game seems a little quirky. Like when you kill someone or you die, sometimes the gun will stay in mid air. The most annoying thing is for example on Aztec while guarding bridge, theres a guy awping on the other side (imagine that) and he jumps in and out from behind the wall,well alot of times i dont even see him come out, im just dead, its like everythings not in sync. The tweaks i've used are as follows: cl_lagcomp_errorcheck 1 cl_cmdrate 100 cl_updaterate 100 cl_rate 20000 cl_smooth 0 r_sse2 1 fps_max 85 and all the gore stuff, which i havent noticed any difference with. Help would be appreciated

golly gee!, I cant even think about that, I have a 2 and an almost 8 year old, both girls,(well,my girl does, when were married they'll be mine, known her 15 yrs and both girls since birth,we all very happily live together) All I can see is Lunk camping the roof with scout waiting for the car to pull up How old are your girls Lunk? I dont know either, the only time i've seen that word was in a different server when I first started playing CS:S, it was a guys name, and he used to tick everyone off by using a speedhack.

aaaahhh the heck with em, if its anything like most peoples high school experience, they were mostly buttheads and not worth the time anyways! At least at fragfest, you can shoot the people you don't like, or do like for that matter. Yeah, but I live in Kent so that just seems like a waste, if you would rather just put me on the bottom of the list thats ok, that way if it fills up with people stayin at the hotel, you can just boot me, i'm cool with that. I understand you have to make it work finacially. Or i could pay a little more if need be, i'm flexible, but I think i'll probably just go home at night. I'm 32 goin on 16. My dads 56 and he plays pc games as much if not more than I do. He's really wanting to get HL2 so he can get CS:S and play on the server. Imagine that, a father and son duo of suckiness.

You might have to check into this to be sure, but if memory serves, only the X800 Pro VIVO boards can be unlocked with a bios flash. I dont remember how its done exactly, hopefully someone here can add to this, but i think its just flashed with the X800 XT bios to unlock the additional pipelines. Hope this helps a little at least.

I dont have UT2004 but i am considering picking it up, how do you log on to the servers to play? The whole steam thing is pretty noob-proof, but i've never had any online multiplay experience before CS:S. Thanks in advance

I get between 40 - 80 most of the time which seems fine. With no action it goes over 100 but that doesnt even count really. Athlon64 3000+ 512 mb PC3200 X800 XT Platinum What is that Powerstrip that was referred to above?

I always have a great time here, i feel like i know alot of the regulars here now and that makes playin alot more fun. I'm sure anybody that was new tonight will be back because there isnt a better place out there to play. Everybody here is very cool and they never give me a hard time for stinkin so bad, they actually try to help instead of shout obsenities at you. Thanks all!

I have a mobo with the Nvidia Nforce 3 250gb chipset that has the onboard firewall, currently when i play on the server i set it to anti-hacking only, but i guess the other question i have is, are we at risk of viruses and such while playing on the server? Or is lack of browser use keep us fairly anonymous? I also use AVG anti virus, but shut it down when playing. Just curious as to what some of you set your stuff at, especially Nvidia firewall. Thanks guys!

What games are played at fragfest? I only play CS:S, i dont even own UT2004, can you play just one specific game or do i have to purchase other games?

I got an email from ATI saying i still can download hl2 even though i ordered it on cd. How long does it take download? Is it an all night while you sleep thing?
