i got banned from west coast for a tk but the guy killed me the round befor and was gonna agin so i killed him. i dont know what admin banned me but slim smiley was on. sry didnt think id get banned befor him, i dont tk on purpose ive played here and only here on GC servers and many can vouch for that. Hey Guys, its |:JTF:|Afro Thunder here. Ive been playing on your servers quite alot, with an activity rating of something around 96%. I Tried logging on today, just about five minutes ago and it said that i was banned . I've come here to check it out. I don't know why I was banned, nor was I there when it happened. I think ive been kicked once, when I first started playing there for my language, but that was a few weeks ago and I've been playing almost every day since. Could someone please tell me why I was banned, or maybe it was even a mistake or something, I don't know. My steam id is STEAM_0:0:996889 and I double-checked it. I don't believe I was rebanned because I have not been able to join the server since I was originally banned yesterday.

STEAM_0:1:5330501 I honestly don't know when or why I was banned and if it helps, I'm sorry for whatever it was. I don't see my ID on the posted list, so I'm guessing it was several months ago, back when I used to pub a LOT. I'll admit to have been somewhat immature then. Now I mainly play competitively and maintain a respectable attitude towards those I play with. I found it somewhat amusing that I'm banned from a couple of your servers (I'm not banned from the GG server), since the only pubs I've been banned from are ones I was accused of hacking in. So, I decided I would drop in the forums to find out why and to see if I could be removed from the ban list. Thank you.

Hi, my steam id is STEAM_0:0:996889. I was playing on the stock WC server today on cs_italy and got kicked for throwing smokes in spawn. I came back and stopped throwing smokes in spawn because I realized that must be against the rules. I was playing the game as normal and helping my team eliminate the enemies. As we were about to kill the last enemy I shot the hosties since the round was about to be over. Apparently, this is also against the rules. All apologies. I commit to not partake in these activies again on your servers. I do enjoy playing on them. Thank you.

Alright, so I'm sort of confused. Just before Bothrops banned me, he says for me to take it up on the forums. So what he actually meant i guess was to take it up on the forums and try to stand up for yourself so we can arbitrarily permanently ban you from all our servers for you trying to justify what you did. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, I honestly just don't understand the mechanics behind it all. I guess I would have been better off if I just sat idley by and didnt try to explain my actions??

I have once again been banned from the midwest server. I am unclear as to why. I came into the computer room and my brother said that I was banned. He was playing on my steam ID, I tell him all the time to sign out of my steam account and sign into his, but he never listens. He will not tell me why he got banned on my steam account. I am asking you to please unban my steam account because it was not me playing when it was banned. Please unban me and if anyone knows, could someone post the reason for the ban because my brother will not tell me because he is afraid or somthing that I will get angry at him; which I am because I always tell him to play on his steam account, but that is a whole different subject. Please unban my steam account. Mookie has recently PMed me and I am now aware as to why my steam account got banned. It was because of an inappropiate name and I will no longer leave my steam account signed in when I am not at the computer and I will no longer leave my password on "save password". Also, please keep in mind that my brother did not do this on purpose. He was playing on a server that runs surf maps and someone was insulting him with explicit vulgar hate comments (I witnessed these comments), my brother ignored them for a few maps and eventually changed his name to a display name that was insulting to whoever was insulting my brother. He simply forgot that the vulgar display name was still activated when he joined the .gc midwest server. It is not his fault that he was banned. He simply forgot, and it is my fault for forgetting to log out of my steam account, if I had logged out, my brother would be the one posting right now. I hope that this can be resolved soon so I can again play with you gentlemen on .gc servers, and still allow my brother to play on them as well. If my brother knew that the vulgar display name was still activated, believe me, he would of changed it before joining a .gc server. I hope you understand where I am coming from and can let this thing blow over, and I promise you that nothing like this will ever happen ever again. Umm yea i posted yesterday about my ban in the thread "First TIme Banned" and MrX said it was a 24 hour thing. Well its 5 o'clock the next day and it still says im banned. I enjoy this srvr and hope i can be fixed. If i did something wrong let me know...

First off, great servers and community. I'm an admin at another large community (indygamers.com) that prides itself on being mature and professional so I understand how difficult it is to maintain a level of decency here and on the servers. You guys do a great job. I've been banned for a while now, and I dont' know why. I don't play much but when I do, I prefer not to play with ethug allstars and instead concentrate on the game. I think I may have been banned for what someone thought was hacking. At least it's the only thing I can think of since I respect the server rules. But I'm pretty sure I was never given a warning, or banned and kicked from the game itself, it just said I was banned one day when I tried to connect. I don't even see my steam id in the banned list. But I can assure you I wouldn't have done anything that warranted being banned for. And if I did, I would like to know what that was so I may apologize and curb the behavior. It's more likely someone thought I was hacking, as I aim exlusively for the head and have a decent accuracy stat in servers that keep those type of things. About 1/3 my kills are headshots. I'm a solid player only because I've been playing since late beta and competed in CAL back in v.1.3 through v.1.6. But I don't hack, and never have. Again, sorry I don't know exactly what happened, or when it was, but I enjoy playing on the servers primarily because of the mature and relaxed environment. Being one of the top admins for another gaming community, I'd like to be unbanned so I can play with some of my friends that play here frequently. In fact, I still recommend your servers to co-workers and other mature gamers looking for somewhere to play. I'm pretty sure it would have been the Chicago stock CSS server. After playing something around fifteen rounds, I started teamkilling Script Kiddy. I probably did this two or three times. Then, I went on to another player, killed him, and killed Script Kiddy one last time. I was then auto-banned from the server. I shouldn't have done this on the Gamers Coalition servers. I know better now, but I believe my insomnia may have had a part in myself committing those irrational actions. Trust me when I say this is one road I will try to never, ever go down again while using your wonderful servers. Just a little sidenote, like I said before, I've been experiencing insomnia recently which is causing forgetfullness so this report may not be as accurate as I'd like. Ok today Sun the 18th, i was playing on Midwest NoScope and i was banned. It was around 3:15 central time. I have yet to find out why. I was playing and i had just gotten killed and the command window came up and it said .... Kicked and Banned. I have no idea what i did, and if it was inappropriate then i am sorry. The only admin on that i saw was Monthos but a new one could have logged in just before hand. I waited an hour to see if it was an auto but nothing. I was going to wait till tommorow and see if it was a 24 hour but i decided to put a thread in now to see if this can be resolved faster. My handle is gatekeeper and mi ID is STEAM_0:1:9455104. I was banned about a month ago from west coast stock server, probably for disconnecting after someone voted to kick me off because I was afk. It was that or I killed a team mate and apologized too late. I just started playing a month ago or so and didn't know the rules very well. I have behaved much better lately, playing like a gentlemen. It is a sad day when a fellow counter strike player is banned due to pure inustice. My dear friend Robotronic was illustrating how acronyms can be in used many ways, for both good and evil, when the disallusioned admins Fluffy the cat and AMNESIAC ( )felt the unecessary need to remove him from the server. Because of their premature actions I, the innocent, have been banned from the server. Does this seem fair to you? No, I think not. Today I was playing on the midwest CSS server and I was banned. It happened shortly after I was autoswitched (a few people disconnected after I joined a team) and switched back. I should have just stuck with the team I got switched to, but I made the mistake of trying to go back (the teams were 8/7 at that point in time, 8 on the team I got switched to). There are few decent servers left - most of them seem to be on someone's DSL or cable with 50,000 useless annoying scripts running and I would hate to be peramently banned from one of the few seemingly professional servers left. Hey everyone, I posted last saturday (june 3rd) because I got banned and I didn't do anything for it. I just got back in town and I was hoping that I would of been unbanned by now but I am still banned. I logged onto the midwest server and I didnt even get to see the team select screen because I was banned that quickly. I am extremely confused as to why this is and I would really appreciate it if I could get an answer to this. I have people who have replied to my last post on this saying that I am not a problem on .gc servers and that they see no need for my ban. My nname is killroy noobman and i was just banned on the west coast los angeles server on 6/7/06 at 2:20pm. I have no idea what happened. I was not breaking any of the rules in fact several minutes before this happened I was asking some guy named Captain to plz stop cussing on speak. He said there are no admins so F*&K off. I did not pursue the situation because it is not my place. Then all of a sudden for no reason i got kicked and banned? I know I am exactly the kind of player desired on this server and I have never broken the rules so could you plz fix this situation because GC is my favorite servers.
