I love gun game. I used to not like but that changed. It's just too bad that I am away at college and don't have a fast enough internet connection to play CS:S without making the entire server lag like crazy.

Hey everybody, currently in CS:S I have a problem. My backwards button is not working, so I cannot move backwards. I have backwards binded to the "s" key, I have tried binding multipule other keys in both the config and manually binding in the console; nothing has worked. I know that my "s" key isn't broken, as you can see I have used it quite a bit in this post, also whenever I bind "randomletter" "+back" in the console, it still doesn't work. I have restarted steam, and done pretty much everything I can think of. The only thing that I have not done is reinstalled CS; which I will do if no one has an answer for me in this thread. Please, if you know how to fix this, please be as detailed as possible in the insturctions of how to fix this problem. And I thank all of you who either posted replies on this thread or simply just read it. Thanks again fellas and take it easy.

I think its time for a new map or two to be added into the map rotation. Like put de_3rdstreet back in, I love that map. I started a thread on the map cycle because I honestly think people are starting to get bored with the old classic maps like office, dust, and aztec, I think we should keep them, but maybe remove one or two and replace it with a different map, so that way people won't get tired of the rotation that is set right now. I suggest de_3rdstreet, de_nuke, de_deltamill, de_cplfire, de_cplmill, de_ratcusinv5. All of these are amazing maps that could easily take the place of a map that players might be bored with. I know that all of use (or most of us) like maps like dust, dust2 or aztec, but these are the very very first maps that we played when we first bought CS, I know my first map that I ever played was de_aztec, while these are good maps, they get old after time. I say we add two new maps into the rotation and keep the old ones. Currently, I think we have a 5 map rotation, since a lot of people love these old classic maps, if we had a 7 map rotation with two maps being new to the rotation, I think people wouldn't be as bored with these maps. Or remove a map or two if you think a 7 map rotation is too long and put a new map or two in there. Or if people really just love playing scout knives (I know I do), just put scout knives in the rotation. Anyway, let me know what you guys think of my idea, I have already had a few response on my thread, some agree with me, some don't. I just think in order for somthing like this too happen, there needs to be a very high percentage of people who are in agree with me. I am not saying change the entire rotation. I know that plently of people love dust and aztec, but, this rotation has been set like this forever. Keep those maps, keep all of em but one maybe, I would just like to see new map thrown in. As I recall, when this server ran maps like nuke, 3rd street and such, I remember having a very hard time joining the server because it was always full, I don't think by removing a map or two you will loose any business at all. Maps like office, dust, dust 2 aztec, are all good maps, but, they are the very very first maps that everyone played whenever it was we first started playing CS. The fact of the matter is, there are a million maps out there that are better than the ones currently in the server, and maps like dust and such get old, keep all em if you want. I am not saying come up with an entire different map cycle, just add a new one in there. Thanks everyone. -Irish

Any maps really. I would just like to see a new map cycle. Don't get me wrong, dust2 and Italy are great maps, aztec and dust I am not so fond of because they are better the CT side always, but all I know is that I would like to have de_deltamill in the new map rotation (assuming deltamill is the map I think I am talking about), anyway, I say get rid of all the maps in the cycle right now. Throw in nuke, maybe 3rd street, of course deltamill (aparently deltamill2 is the same as deltamill, its just a bugfixed version), maybe try out a cool custom map. I know whenever I play scopless, they have the most amazing custom maps, maybe we should throw one of those in there. Currently I think there are only 4 maps in the rotation, I think we should have 5. 4 just seems like not enough, 6 is way to much, 5 I think is perfect. Anyway, let me know what ya guys think. There is one map that I believe is de_deltamill that I absoultly love. At one point in time, when this server was changing up the map cycle and maps were just being played upon request because there was no cycle, this server went de_deltamill. I remember that a lot of people enjoyed it. I would like to see this in the cycle at least to experiment with it to see if people do like it, and if they do, we could then talk bout keeping it. I think it would be a great replacement for maps like de_dust or de_aztec where those maps really favor one particular side. Please post and let me know what you think about this. Again, I am not 100% exactly sure if it is indeed de_deltamill, if the server runs de_deltamill, I can let you know if it is the correct one. I will give a small detailed description of the map at the end of this post so that maybe someone back verify which map I am talking about if it isn't deltamill. Map description: There is an underground tunnel that branches off into different areas, there is a big building that has a bombsite in it. there is sort of a sewer type thing where you can see sewage water in it. there is a big open area in the middle. Umm, sorry for the bad description, I have only played this map once and it was a while back. Please post though and let me know what you think. I DO KNOW that this map is NOT de_cplmill. I went into this movie thinking that it was going to be horrible because I heard awful reviews about it. I absolutly loved it. I never listen to reviews, they hardly ever know what they are talking about. I highly recommend this movie. It was fantastic.

Hey everybody, on Wednesday, June 28 2006 around 1:05pm, this server was playing cs_italy. I had saved up a bunch of money for awps, and a player who's handle is xP|zeddeee was constantly following me. I didn't think of it much at first, I just thought he was being goofy, but, I went to the wine cellar and went out the top, there was a CT awper out there (I was T) so I tried to run back in the wine cellar but xP|zeddeee blocked me. When the next round started I asked him what his deal was and he said that he wanted the awp. He deliberately blocked me so he could have my gun. He continued to follow me and tried to block me again, but I stopped going to areas on the map where it was possible for blocking. I realized that blocking me was planned by him. That is why he was following me around. JTF AfroThunder saw him block me, and he can acknowledge that this post is 100% the truth. I am not asking for a permanent ban, because that would be ridiculous for simply blocking. Normally, blocking doesn't bother me, I mean C'mon, it happens, but, when it is planned and on purpose, I think something should be done about it. I would at least like to see a temporary ban for a week or two. The information is listed below my thanks all of you who read my post. Hey everyone, I was trying to make a demo the other day and it wouldn't work. I go into console, type record and then the demo name, but it wont record and when it does say its recording, when I say stop, it wont allow me to play it. Please help with this. Ok, I understand where you guys are coming from about the whole idea that my brother should be banned regardless of if I take the fall for it or not. Lunk, as far as the one week ban goes, I respect any decision that you and any other lead admin make. Since Fatty gave the option that only one person has to serve a ban, since I have decided to serve it, there would be no reason for my brother to be banned. Anything that happens on my SteamID is ultimatly my responsibility regardless of if I am playing or not. So if there are consequences that need to be dealt out, since it was on my SteamID, I should be the one to serve those conequences. Ya guys get what I am trying to say here. I just don't see a reason for my brother being banned. Lunk, please let me know when you and the other lead admin's make a decision about how long my ban will be. Thank you -Luck of the Irish

Stuttering John, I really appreciate your support, but, like I said in my other thread on this subject, I do not want my brother banned. This whole thing when you really look at it is my fault for not signing out of Steam. Stop making posts about me getting unbanned and my brother getting banned. I am not angry, I just don't want an admin to see those types of posts and then unban me and then ban my brother. Thank you for your support though. -Irish

I beileve it was Lunk who closed it off, since he is a Lead admin and was the last to post on that thread, if you could, please open it back up.
