I felt like I had to ask...

It may seem expensive and not worth it at first, but after reaching level 29, and having 300k gold, I've decided I wish I had bought more training. Gold it seems is absolutely worthless at this point. Just a tip, and what I plan on doing for the rest of my characters.

I'll be posting questions as they come up...get enough of them and I'll organize a nice FAQ. 1) Out in the wilderness can one sleep if they dont have a bedroll or can you only wait when not in a camp or an Inn? I leveled while in Oblivion...and they dont exactly have beds. Had to finish the mission and go back to Tamriel to rest and lvl. ** Knowledge tidbit: type "~" followed by "tdt" without quotes to bring up your fps in upper right corner of screen.

I was bored, so I thought I'd show off my collection of junk. First up is Umbra's Armor. Poor girl didn't stand a chance when I ran her through: The four Mythic Dawn books sitting pretty in a display case: These are the only 4 items I used to beat the game, plus a necklace I'm still wearing. Ring of Wizardry which adds +10 to all mage skills. Mundane Ring which has 50% chance to resist spells and 35% chance to reflect them back. Burgandy pants which have some resist fire and a shirt which resists normal weapons: Two daggers, the top one I used off and on through out the game, the bottom one I held onto but never used. Top one is the Dagger of Storms, does 20 shock damage on contact, second is Witsplitter, drains intelligence and magicka: Full set of Imperial Dragon Armor: Random stuff I got from towns through quests. From left to right, Layawiin Shield, Kvatch Cuiruss, and Escheleon of Chorrol: Magic Blades stuff, Northwind, 20 frost damage on strike, Valdemar's Shield, reflects 9% damage: My cheese collection:

Read in the Oblivion offical forums that quite a few people are having trouble getting their DVD players to either register the fact that the DVD is in the Drive or it wont install the disk thinking its a blank media. I remember having major issues trying to load the DVD version of Sims 2 on my old computer. Problem was the DVD burner was too old and didn't have a firmware update for the new anti-piracy software...long story short, it would never run the DVD unless I purchased a new drive. I shudder to think about how long I've waited for the game only to get it home and have my DVD spit it back at me. Granted I've built a new computer system since then... Soooo....I know fileplanet has the game for digital purchase. Would anyone recommend the download? If anyone has any experience with it, what size is the d/l pipe? 5 GB is alot to d/l. I guess I'd rather physically have the game...but I dont want any install problems...gonna have enough hardware problems with framerate as it is.

I've heard this game is a monster on videocards. Anyone know what videocards out there would make this game look the prettiest?

elder scrolls So like, how do you take screenshots?
VooDooPC posted a topic in Adventure, Action, RPG
I was told you just had to change this line in the Oblivion.ini file: bAllowScreenShot=0 to bAllowScreenShot=1 Then you can hit the printscreen button to take screen shots. This didn't work for me at all. Am I doing something wrong or is there another way? -
How long until some evil person makes a mod that puts the cliff racer into Oblivion? You know someone will do it...but they'll probably disguise it as some other, much better, mod and surprise you when you leave a town... "what's that noise?...Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!"
