Playaa March 31, 2004 Share Playaa Member March 31, 2004 too bad it's Disney (I know this should go under Entertainment but I wanted a bit of advertisement for it)
SheepNutz March 31, 2004 Share SheepNutz Member March 31, 2004 I used to love the series when I was younger. There is an older Lion Witch & The Wardrobe movie that used to be shown on PBS from time to time. It wasn't bad.
Playaa March 31, 2004 Author Share Playaa Member March 31, 2004 yeah that was the BBC's miniseries version...I loved those (I think they only made LWW, Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the Silver Chair though) they were enjoyably simple...I hope they do 10x better with this though
Crowbar March 31, 2004 Share Crowbar Member March 31, 2004 Yeah, there are old movies for Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and Silver Chair. They really weren't bad movies. As I read through that link, I didn't see anything mentioning the real meaning of the stories. I guess I didn't expect to, but it still ticked me off. "The market is ready for this..." or something like that, is what Disney says. Translated: LotR sold so well, and so did the Passion, that we're just begging for a piece of the action. I can see it now, Aslan, the big, cuddly, kittycat, that just wants everyone to be happy. Good find Playaa, you're right, too bad it's Disney.
