i keep getting kicked cuz it says i have an old version of PB. i have the 1.4 patch installed. so where do i get the new PB. thank u all.

You would probably get more help if you posted this in the CoD forums. What I'm guessing is either you never turned PB on, or you turned it on and your setup file is set to read only so it didn't take.

 

I'm a victim of both of these before I figured it out.

 

 

To make sure you have it turned on, in the main menu go to where you set up your user name and put in your CD key. There is a place to turn PB on and off in there. Try that.

 

If you have already tried that, make sure your config_mp.cfg file isn't set to read only. (in case you don't know how to do this....right click on the file, click properties, and there are some check boxes at the bottom of the window that opens. Un check the read-only if it is checked and then go back through your main menu and turn PB on again)

You need to run pbweb.exe from the punkbuster file under call of duty directory.. It updates the pb and wont kick you after..

 

I got my copy at punkbusters website.. I can email it to you though..
