gOOters July 11, 2004 Share gOOters Member July 11, 2004 Watched it last night. Despite the all-star cast I thought it was very disappointing. The plot, although classic, somehow managed to be very thin and uninteresting. The story was all over the place. In 2.5 hours we saw terrific actors show up for 30 minutes at a time (Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Don Sutherland) and they managed somehow to add NOTHING to the terrible story. I wanted to fast forward it. Acting and cinematography were magnificent. The storyline and script were VERY mediocre. 73/100 WITH extra points for the cast.
