this sounds like a good place to start. ill check my vid card settings and tweak the in-game menus. anyone wanna post up a good config file, or settings?

thx for the posts guys. yes, I know that the choke is what is causing the lag, I want to know what settings will fix it? HeyZD! System is old. Cant remember. I think Asus MB, AMD 2600, 1GB Ram, Radeon 9800Pro 256MB. The problem just started when my steam quit working, so I un-re-installed Steam with CSS. So...settings prob or do I need to totally reformat my comp. Its only been a year or so since I did a total reformat.

What settings do you recommend for me? I just reinstalled CSS Old cruddy comp, VERY fast fiberoptic cable: Netgraph 3 shows FPS: 25 In: 4880 Out: 70 Choke: 200 Ping: 32 As you can see, I am "lagging" horribly. Whats going wrong here?

Whenever a vote or statbox pops onscreen, I cant just hit 1 (or whatever) or click to get it offscreen This screws up my gameplay FOr example a vote comes up and then I cant use my mouse wheel or whatever and cant vote either

Yup...you read that right. Who woulda thought God would trust me with something like this? Friday night at 836pm, I helped Christi do all the work toward bringing Reagan Michelle into the world. 7lb 12oz and 21" long. She is absolutely perfect (of course Im sure all Dads think this). I am really really excited. I feel like rushing home right now to see her! I'll be taking some time off soon to really spend some time with her. The whole birthing process used to scare the tar out of me...but now I think it is SOO COOL!!! Im ready to do it again!

I love nading and knifing...but it might add a twist to actually have a gun? When I press "1" on my keyboard (or num pad) to select a weapon, nothing happens. I try binding a key to 1 or "1", but nothing seems to activate it for me? 2 & 3 dont work either. In fact, whenever there is a screen that pops up as a plugin at the start of the round, I can never select anything. btw, radio commands, etc work just fine. any ideas, guys?
