soul .gc August 13, 2004 Share soul .gc Member August 13, 2004 I watched this last night and was disappointed. There are quite a few plot discrepancies and issues. At first you get the impression it is going to be like Jacob's Ladder (If you have not seen it then do not waste your rental money). It was a bit confusing in parts and the writing was a bit bad. The acting was well done. I am not sure if Streep or Denzel did a better job, they were both extremely good. If only the plot had been a bit more solid with the writing and loose ends everywhere.
