Playaa August 11, 2004 Share Playaa Member August 11, 2004 how in the WORLD do you do it? I played with my new trackball last night...and while I didn't do any worse than normal...it just felt weird... is there some kind of setting I'm missing? I mean my trackball movements are NOT smooth...they are jerky and fast and it's hard to concentrate on one small target...is there a secret? General J August 11, 2004 Share General J Member August 11, 2004 (edited) I think using a trackball would be even worse than trying to play with a joystick.. and only a joystick! Edited August 11, 2004 by General J
Playaa August 11, 2004 Author Share Playaa Member August 11, 2004 I knew a guy who was one of the best Quake 2 players I'd ever seen (called Revox) who played with a joystick. I also know a guy who uses a gamepad for movement and mouse for looking/shooting...he doesn't use the keyboard except to type and rests the gamepad on his leg and actually uses his leg to push buttons on the gamepad. he is also a very impressive gamer
