Korodas October 27, 2004 Share Korodas Member October 27, 2004 This occurred somewhere around 11:30 EST tonight, October 27. We had a full server, until some SERIOUS packet loss began occurring. Everybody started complaining and the server was vacated in minutes!! ArcticStronghold was left with nobody there and a score of 1-1 . Was a good game too. Only JollyGreenGiant was there when I came logged back on to take the screenshot: Here is the tracert, although this one is a little late. The first time I did it just to check, noticed that the server timed out once before it reached the IP address, then closed the window and decided to post. Then I read I needed to post a copy of the tracert. :/ It looks ok now! mountain_dew October 27, 2004 Share mountain_dew Member October 27, 2004 (edited) Yeah, it was too bad. I saw there was a scrim going on between SCK and LCD, and the match between KONA and 187. Too many peeps for both, so the extras were coming onto the KoNA server and MOBO II. But they all left fast with that weird stuff. I DID see right before I logged off "Speed Hack Detected". Not sure if it actually did, or it was just lagging bad and sometimes in old UT that's how it came out? Sorry, not computer savvy. It was a smaller map - Arctic, not one of the big ones. By the way, JollyGreenGiant is my neighbor 2 blocks down. The one who got me hooked on UT and dragged me to LAN parties. He actually is like 6'5". We play a lot of volleyball together. Nice guy, he's thinking of joining GC, if his wife (who's nice too) let's him. She's pretty athletic and rides horses, so we try to play when she rides. Talk him into it. Fatty October 27, 2004 Share Fatty GC Founder October 27, 2004 Same trouble occured on another server on another box on the network. Nothing we can do about this, as it's a bigger network issue. Thanks for the detail. I'd wait to see if the server continues like this for a good amount of time, or if it's recurring, before I spent this much time. At any rate, thanks for your detail!
