CD Keys?

ok for Christmas I recieved a copy of the "Half-Life Platinum Collection" which includes Half-Life, Retail CS, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, and TF.

Half-Life and Retail CS both have thier own CD-Key.....so does this mean that I could have a computer with Half-Life installed and the downloaded CS and have a computer with Retail CS and have them both play on an internet server?

yea, they would have to be in diff directories and not at the same time.

so is CS Retail an entirely different game that runs without Half-Life?

Yes You can do that.. You don't even need the retail CD.. You can install the mod for both computers, and use the 2 different CD keys.. blue shifts CD-key also works for online CS.. so thats 3 cd-keys you can use

actually by the time I come back to the CS community I'll be called Pselus again...Playaa was a thing I did for one day and it happened to be the day I first played on Plat and met ppl so I came back once as Pselus and no one could remember me until I came back as Playaa......so I got stuck with it......hehe
