I have two stud 1st basemen and two stud 3rd basemen. Although one of my 3rd basemen is on the DL.

 

C. Delgado - 1B

M. Sweeney - 1B

H. Blalock - 3B

S. Rolen - 3B (DL)

 

Obviously I would be more willing to depart with a 1B since Rolen is on the DL (unless you want him...)

 

So tell me what you could do so I can tell you it ain't good enough.

I guess Delgado is the better of the two (besides, you're a KC guy). I offered Myers, unless you'd like Schilling who's on the DL and long tossing from 150.

I'm not too keen on Schilling right now. Of course Rolen overachieved last year, but even I could probably post some decent numbers in the Cardinal's lineup.

 

I don't know anything about Myers. Very impressive stats though. He has been consistently average until this year. Going to have to find out why he is doing so well. New pitch, better command, whatever.

 

I will get back with you on the Delgado for Myers trade.

Ok, his numbers are just too good right now. I pulled the trigger and accepted. Delgado is a stud and will be great for your offense.

 

Now I will have to hope Sweeney stays healthy
