Playaa January 7, 2003 Share Playaa Member January 7, 2003 ok I'm on a computer at work that has a 2.00ghz Pentium 4 processor. At first I thought the problem I was having was with the sound until I noticed it happened to video also so I'm thinking it's something with the processor. (maybe it's an overclocked one?). But anyway the problem is this: All video and sound on this computer is sped up about 3 times. Meaning every 3 seconds of a song or movie goes by in 1 second....and no it's not on fast forward. So far this has happened using Winamp3, Windows CD Player, and Kazaa Lite. *EDIT* P.S. --> this also includes streaming video and sound off of the internet.... Asphyxiator January 10, 2003 Share Asphyxiator Member January 10, 2003 Does all your audio come through like that? If its just MP3 encoded stuff then you just need a new mp3 decoder. If wav files sound like that too then you might have a compatibility issue with your soundcard and your OS. I highly doubt its a CPU problem. Do you have an integrated sound card? Have you updated drivers?
Playaa January 24, 2003 Author Share Playaa Member January 24, 2003 well the thing that makes me think it's CPU is that streaming video and normal video are sped up AS WELL AS Flash movies are sped up.... 'splain
