Terribleone September 2, 2005 Share Terribleone Member September 2, 2005 Hey guys.... I have a 2000 Chevy Impala with quite a bit a miles on it anyways i was wondering what you guys think of my system i am starting so far I have..... For the front speakers i have these... Front Speakers for the rear i have......rear speakers..... i got these speakers brand spanking new off of ebay for like half the price it was pretty nice... what i have shipping from crutchfield..... cd-player so what do you think so far?? i think it going to sound pretty good i will be able to get the mids and highs perfectly all i will need is a decent set a subs and a nice amp and i will be set if i want to get the lows. I like that clear, percise bass like for rock and stuff like that.... non ported box will do that trick!

All Kill3r September 17, 2005 Share All Kill3r Member September 17, 2005 Having good mid's and high's is a lot more important then big subs and amps imo. I drive an eagle talon with all sony explodes in the doors and 2 12's pushed by a 1000w California amp. It sounds amazing to most any type of music, but 90% of the time i leave the amp/sub turned way down. Soo... if you already have a nice deck and door speakers your pretty set. Subs/amp are nice, but i find them to be overpowering to a lot of music.
Unclean September 17, 2005 Share Unclean Member September 17, 2005 I'll second that one. I have 2 Pioneer Premiers and a Phoenix Gold zx600ti, and that's WAY too much bass for most songs. Component systems are the way to go.
