Need vid card advice before 4:30 PM shopping spree

My company, ePrize, is taking us all out of the office at 4:30 PM today for a shopping spree at Best Buy. We each receive a $150 gift card that we must spend within the 2 hour shopping spree.

 

Requirements:

 

* I will spend more than $150. The gift card puts some higher end cards within reach.

* I can do PCI-e

* All things being equal, I prefer NVidia. Still, a superior ATI card is an option

* Must be purchasable at Best Buy

I'd especially look at the HL2 benchmarks. The opinion seems to be that ATi is better than nVidia for the Source engine, but those benchmarks seem to show the difference is not huge.
