Guest Boy Sherman January 31, 2003 Share Guest Boy Sherman Guests January 31, 2003 My computer booted up and it said: S.M.A.R.T. is capable but is disabled and it kept that for like 20 mins (its at the WAY beginning when u just start the computer) and then it said: Searching for boot records from floopy drive.. and it stayed until it went to login.. it was messed.. and its never done this! Asphyxiator January 31, 2003 Share Asphyxiator Member January 31, 2003 LOL jumper cables, do you realize that a jumper is a simply a piece of plastic that joins two pins together, they are all over your motherboard, THEY ARE NOT CABLES, remind me never to let you fix my computer. Computers are not cars, if you have a dead batteries then jumper cables are what you need. I think you need to reassess the 4 years you learned about computers from your brother.
