Any U GUYS CLIMB????

I was just curious if any of u guys rock climb? I am really into it and after reading alot of posts in the athletic forums i think u guys would dig it.

I used to in college - indoors, though. It was a great feeling being able to do fingertip pullups, two-finger pullups, and stuff like that.

 

Are you talking about *real* climbing (no auto-billet, color-coded holds, etc)?

the only way i'm climbing anything is if my snowboard is on my pack. not too much snow in the city, although mt. diablo just got 2". total annual snowfall is 4" so far.

 

i'd like to, but i'm not sure how to get started.

the best way to start climbing is to find a climbing gym near u and learn the basics. then buy the minimal gear u need and take it outside. but where do u live? im in california in the LA area so if ur close i could take u. let me know.

i'm in the bay area. is six hours close?

 

if all goes well, i'll be in SLOtown this summer...and i'll trade my free time for surfing.

I went rock climbing once, inside. It was a fun time, maybe i'll go back there some day.
