Roland April 8, 2006 Share Roland Member April 8, 2006 Hey gang. I haven't been able to play very often in the past few weeks, but when I have played, I keep getting kicked for a high ping. I never ping more than, say ... 25 on your server. I've never had this issue before. I ping fine to all other L.A area servers I can find. I have Verizon DSL. It's a bit frustrating, as I really like your server. I don't play too often - but when I do, I want it to be some quality time spent. Any ideas? ... besides switching providers? =) Thanks. - George

Laz.e.rus April 9, 2006 Share Laz.e.rus Member April 9, 2006 everything is in order there. One thing it could be ( this happens to me) is most of the time, everything is fine. Then ( seems to be usually peek hours) out of no-where my ping will double or more. After tracing the route at that time, I find Im hitting an AT&T line thats timing me out terribly. = bad router. Sometimes taking an alternate path as well. My suggestion, when you see that ping get crazy high, run the trace RIGHT then. See what it shows at that time.
