anonymo May 24, 2006 Share anonymo Member May 24, 2006 A couple things you can be sure of with wireless mice -the signal will get disrupted now and again by other devices -the batteries will die -the cord will get caught I'm sure that wireless technology can easily keep up with current corded technology, it's just that whole interference thing that will cause lag...if a part of a packet gets dropped it has to resend, which results in at least a millisecond delay...also the weight of the batteries is a good point...while it can still be balanced, a wireless mouse will always be heavier than a corded one, until someone can send power wirelessly...although something tells me that would be pretty cancerous... All this being said I really liked gaming with my cordless mouse...the freedom really helped my style of play and I continually find my cord to be a neusance now that I have a wired mouse...however, there were more than enough times that my batteries died mid game (once during last years MCC ) and I had to frantically change them...
