stutters October 1, 2006 Share stutters GC Alumni October 1, 2006 my landlord is asking me to help (i.e. reduce my rent for help) with her underground sprinkler system. it's got no pressure, and i've got no clue. there's 3 zones on the system. all 3 zones have hardly any water pressue. zone 2 has a crack in the pvc at one of the elbow joints. i'm guessing (har har) that's got to be at least part of the problem. any other brilliant things to look for/at? thanks. Sgt. Slaughterâ„¢-TopBrass October 1, 2006 Share Sgt. Slaughterâ„¢-TopBrass Member October 1, 2006 Can you test each zone by itself? I would try that and see if you can run atleast one, then turn the other zones on one by one until (if it happes) you loose water pressure. If you can't run one zone, check it very carefully for cracks, disconnected pipes, ect. If that check out then your water supply (city or well) can't handle the load and you might have to get an extra water tank + pump.
Chimmpp October 6, 2006 Share Chimmpp Member October 6, 2006 You could hire a hitman/mechanic... but Im not sure how that would help... Dont know much bout this but Im pretty sure PVC is cheap, could you replace the whole thing, or is it like... a lot of PVC?
