The incedent:

I had explained, on the mic, how B works at dust2, T side. Stuttering John had pointed out the round before or so that our team sucked and nobody is gonna deny that. As always, people would say rush, but then stop in the tunnels, etc. I simply was saying things like "If we had me, john and chb in tunnels with AKs or something, we could wipe out all the awpers." things like that. My tactics aren't in question, the banning is. Sure, I talked a lot ONE ROUND. How often am I in the GC servers and barely say anything? 99/100 times. Then we did the proposed Mac10 rush into B by Pela' Vacas. Me and him instantly died walking out. He asked me a question which I fail to remember, something regarding the tunnels. I started to answer him explaining timings with CT awpers and someone with an AK, selfcontrol.gc died and started complaining about me talking too much. I said he asked me a question and to relax because I'm just answering it. The new round started and he chimed in again (this is where the admin lets it go and shuts up, but noooo). Being completely fed up with him I FF'd him in the legs/torso with a galil, I believe it was, not killing him. Pela' Vacas, after I died and switched teams, asked, "what was that all about?" I replied what stuttering john said below. A reasonable kick because I didn't know selfcontrol.gc is an admin. I said ok to john and did "ma_say" in the console saying that I was just answering a question, would he chill please. Within a few seconds I was transfered to a different server. Upon attempting to rejoin it said I was banned.

The second line there was john pasting what I said, dead, to all 4 of the people (me, selfcontrol, john and Pela' Vacas). John had said that line and pasted my line, "if he cant deal with friendly fire, he shouldn't play games" after I asked why I was kicked.

Pretty appauling that I follow the rules as close as humanly possible for me (the only thing is i curse on acciedent sometimes (read: hardly at all) but always appologise and it doesn't happen consistantly). If this is how selfcontrol.gc handles being an admin, I am not going to play at west anymore. This is a problem as many friends from #tWc and my team leader FreemaN play here.

 

Please unban me as this was unjust and, actually, antagonized by your admin.

1) Stuttering pointed out our team sucked and we were down by a lot of rounds.

2) i said some ideas about the tunnels.

3) me and Pela' Vacas die, he askes question, i start answering.

4) self control dies and instantly complains about me talking too much, as if he even understood how long i had talked that round (which was only a couple seonds (2-3?) by the time he died.

5) i dont talk, the new round starts and he pipes up with more bs.

6) i'm ahead in b tunnels, he comes out, i damage him in the legs/torso.

7) i switch teams so i dont have to listen to him, Pela' Vacas asks what happened.

8) i say he shouldn't play if he can't handle friendly fire, meaning he's not taking this whole thing very well (is taking it too seriously)

9) john kicks, i come back and say it wasn't a problem, tell selfcontrol.gc in ma_say to relax please (even said please) because i was just answering a question

10) seconds later i'm out and banned.

EDIT: the ps and some grammar crud.

 

On one final note, I have talked to Laz and gotten some contacts re: admins on west and more. Should I have any issues I'll be xfiring admins as I've done many times and have done to me many times. FF shouldn't be a problem, in other words.

Intentional FF will get you banned... John or Self Control will be in shortly or in the morning to sort this out though.

yah i banned you after you left. you can't make a point with a clip into your teammates leg. your "if he cant deal with friendly fire, he shouldn't play games" didn't help, either. it wasn't like it was accidental ff. bummer, too, cus up until that point you were fine....even if you were talking a lot. selfcontr0l didn't kick you, ban you, or ask for either. it was all me.

i'm not going to say don't talk on the mic, cus you're right, it is usually pretty dull in there. then again, the game is largely based on sounds, and if you can't hear where things are coming from, it gets frustrating. i know a couple rounds i had to call things through mm2, only cus voice com was 3 or 4 people talking over each other.

 

in conclusion:

no more intentional team attacking

no more antagonizing (either way)

use voice com for objectives and gameplay. use chat for, uh, chatting.
