dragonfly January 2, 2007 Share dragonfly Member January 2, 2007 I got the expansion to FEAR for christmas, and it's driving me nuts that I cant get it to display widescreen like i did the original. alvin January 3, 2007 Share alvin Member January 3, 2007 Doop Dee Duu... 1) Find your settings.cfg file for F.E.A.R. It should be somewhere like.. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Monolith Productions\FEAR 2) Open it with notepad or wordpad. 3) Change "ScreenWidth" and "ScreenHeight" to whatever "value" you want. 4) Save and Close. That's about it.. Try to stay out of options menu after that. It will most likely reset your resolution to 640x480. That or.. set the settings.cfg file to a read only file. Res now set to 1680x1050 oops, for got to turn on AA and AF... guess I can always go back in and reset the res. Thanks loki!
