Xterminator February 25, 2007 Share Xterminator Member February 25, 2007 hey everyone so i thought i'd play a few rounds of CS today. I connected to recrud and then all of a sudden i got booted with the following error: Disconnect: error verifying steam ID ticket this also happened on the dm server too. Anyone know what this is all about?

Anyone know what this is all about? One of the two problems I'm now having, I've followed SJ's advice but no idea if it's worked because my reserve isn't working either. dj_ February 26, 2007 Share dj_ Member February 26, 2007 Lev, Make sure the server isn't showing 23/23 when this happens. Your reserve is working, but the server itself has no open slots into which to take you and verify your steamID. It happened to me too during the custom night. As soon as it was at 22/23 I was in, like always. Remember that the second number in that set is the total number of concurrent connections the server will accept and that a connection must be accepted before it will see who you are. If it isn't listening at all (all 23 are currently tied up with players or potential players), it can't evaluate your SteamID. -dj
mookie February 26, 2007 Share mookie GC Alumni February 26, 2007 Reserve slots won't work for you if you get that Steam error, because the server will not know your GUID to tell you apart from anyone else.
