Kidney Stone

Feel sorry for you mo. I know what it is like - but the very first one I (ever) had was 9mm. It was a rather interesting experience that I don't want to

go through again. Remembering the feelings of being used for batting practice and the stent being removed still makes me cringe a bit.

Good meds though :)

Bottom line is that it hurt like hades (the stones and the "treatments").

Yeah, the straining is one of those interesting things that you don't want to do much of (I have to strain ....what?). Interesting feeling with the bigger ones

though - you definately know when you pass one. My stones were sort of diet related (uric acid stones instead of calcium stones). I have gout which means

you have a predisposition to the silly things (uric acid stones anyway). Granted, I could change my diet, but the only things that aren't bad for the gout are

fat, sugar and water. Pretty much anything else you would eat (or drink) is bad. Ain't life grand?

Best of luck to ya man! Hope you don't have to give birth in the future!

If you haven't seen it, some info for ya: linky
