My friend bought a dell and it didnt come with one (pci) so I figured I'd check here before I went and spent $20 on a cheap one. Best to check my options first. It has onboard sound, which is enabled in the bios, drivers seem to be on and working, but there's no sound. Nothing's muted, and I dunno why it wont work. Apparently it's under warranty and they can take it into the shop for free here. Makes my job easier. Thanks for the quick response though Preacher! Sorry, looks like I wont need one.
