Leveller March 26, 2008 Share Leveller Member March 26, 2008 Not personally but we do have 2 BI practices here in the US, 1 focussed around SAP's BI/BW solution, the other more generic. What are you after?

Bewildered March 26, 2008 Share Bewildered Member March 26, 2008 We use BusinessObjects and a datawarehouse, but I dunno much about them. I wrote some data mining code for an earlier project where we tried a tool called MicroStrategy that we were less than happy with.

BTW, apparently BestBuy uses MicroStrategy ... the sales guy said this ... and like Fatty's team ... we followed them over the cliff. Its probably a good product, it just didn't work for us because the people that need the information wanted to be able to use it in a real ad/hoc way but the tool was so complicated it needed a very technical person to create the reports. Any tool that doesn't give your business users the information they need the way they want it, is crap -- even if its free.
