Guest Captain Pants April 3, 2003 Share Guest Captain Pants Guests April 3, 2003 The times are actually about .5 - .75 seconds off, due to the altitude of the track (so, in theory, my fastest time is probably somewhere around 16.5 or so). And yes, my car is rather slow, being a detuned 400 cid motor on a boat that weighs over 2 tons Old rusty Coronet's should not be underestimated, as many are powered by 440's A stock 440 built between 67 and 71 probably is producing somewhere around 300 HP and 425 lbs of torque Also, the 18 second time wasn't mine...
