Coretemp tells me around 40-44C idle. Realtemp tells me around 35-39C idle. Therefore I don't know which one to trust more. I do know it never breaks about 50C under load now though, according to CoreTemp (the higher of the 2 programs) My case has good airflow, actually great airflow, but i keep the fans on medium/low rather than high to keep noise down. I'm also running my computer under my desk, on a carpeted floor. I'm constantly cleaning the filters of dust, and its prolly not getting the best air circulation under there as opposed to on a desktop or somewhere. The CPU runs the exact same at 50C or at 20C. You can't see a noticeable change in performace and i know its not "overheating" at 50C so im not worried about it atm. Plus i expect the quadcore to run a little warmer than a dualcore.
