Battlefield 2: Project Reality .87

I miss the good ol' days of the DOH and MMMM gang getting on bf 1942: DC servers and tearing it up.

 

Project Reality .87, is that next step. It is absolutely awesome. There has been a resurgence in the community due to the massive bf2 1.5 update, new release of the mod, and the creation of mumble - voip program.

 

mumble - pr edition is very nifty program. It allows for positional VOIP in game. So if myself and Fatty are driving down the road in an APC, I can hear him differently if he is sitting shotgun or last man in. It works for distance as well. If you are 100m away, you will have to speak much louder than if you were 5m away.

 

www.tacticalgamer.com is the leading gaming community for bf2 that I have found thus far. Been playing on their servers for a few years now.
