Ubuntu 10.04 released

The latest version which is also a long term support release of Ubuntu is now available for download. The fastest and easiest way to get it right now is via bit torrent. This desktop release should be really good.

I've been beta testing it and very happy with it!

 

I haven't had any issues with it not recognizing any of my Hardware, and even suggesting proprietary drivers. i.e. nVidia Video Card and Broadcomm wireless chipset.

 

I am still getting use to the "mac" style windows and the "social networking" additions to the OS.

 

Also, I'm a fan of Dropbox and won't be using Ubuntu One.
