anonymo September 20, 2010 Share anonymo Member September 20, 2010 I'm definitely a lover of Civ games but I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of new content in Civ IV so I'm hoping there's something there in this one. The game kinda steals my soul though, not sure I want to dedicate so much of my life to it again...and again...and again...
lousiest September 20, 2010 Author Share lousiest Member September 20, 2010 Yea, I kinda feel the same way. Hesitant to get it. I know they've made some pretty nifty changes (e.g. no army stacks), but I dunno... core game play seems to be the same.
anonymo September 21, 2010 Share anonymo Member September 21, 2010 So from what I'm reading there have been some decently major changes like the lack of unit stacking as you mentioned, they got rid of religion, changed resource management, no slavery and made the tiles hexagonal (along with some other changes I can't recall exactly). Would love to try it out but I'm not sure I'm going to throw $50 at it right now just to spend all my free time playing...
