L4D2: Banned for following rushers (the whole team) ban request

I was in the 10v10 server, and I was trying to help pick up people who fell behind. It worked, but then some teammates fall back down and I couldn't have risked going back to get them because they were getting slaughtered soo bad, i would've died. so i just follow the rest of the team to go forward and that results in a ban? Was that not allowed? They were extremely noobish and didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. i tried to help but in the end it didn't work out.

 

It is my fault I couldn't grab about 2 or 4 of them, which would be my bad, I was being a bit selfish with my amount of HP though which would be on me. my bad.

You were banned for 1 day for rushing. You ran ahead with 3 of your other teammates and left the rest of your team behind and failed to respond to my request to go back and help. However, as you have come here and apologised I will uplift your ban, but please refrain from abandoning your team in future.
