Banned Perm for first offense I wasn't aware of... my bad

It was in the L4D2 10v10 server.

 

I noticed my teammates being downed near the end, so I sprinted to the end real fast to be safe.

I had music playing, but I heard people saying my name in the voice chat, but unable to hear exactly what was being said.

Next thing I know I get a perm ban.

 

I have only been playing on the server for a max of 20 minutes total when this happened.

 

I'm sorry for pushing ahead, but I don't think a perm ban for one of the more popular servers on a first offense is nessacery.

I learned my lesseon, but now I'm unable to play on the server anymore.

 

It won't happen again, so can I be unbanned?
