[VI]ROosTEr July 16, 2003 Share [VI]ROosTEr Member July 16, 2003 I recently got to speak with the lead guy on the catalyst team. They are really pushing themselves, and even went so far as to GUARANTEE new drivers at regular intervals, and plan on doing the same for Linux drivers in the near future (however, the intervals for Linux drivers will be much more spread out. NOFX July 17, 2003 Share NOFX Member July 17, 2003 I think zdamage is right about omega vs. ati drivers. I was using Cats 3.6 and I would drop down to 0 fps for a few seconds when alot of stuff was goin on in shadowbane. Switch over to omega latest and alot less slow downs. Guest zerodamage July 17, 2003 Share Guest zerodamage Guests July 17, 2003 Just make sure you have truform turned off if you are using an ati card. While it makes the games points (like on an elbow or sholder) totally round, it is a killer on performance and you really cant tell the difference at all in action games like cs). turn it off in cs by typing in the console: ati_npatch
