Disconnecting from server after 2-15 minutes battlefield

I've looked a bit on the net for the answer, but haven't exhausted all resources, but I'll add this here anyway.

 

Since 1.45, and maybe 1.4x I've been having an issued with DC, BF1942, and the Secret Weapons Demo where I connect to a server and randomly I get an error connection message every 2-15 minutes or so. It's not related to being heavy in battle. It's like I'm getting massive packet loss for 5-10 seconds and if I hit about 10 seconds I'll disconnect from the server. I can 'coax' it to 'reconnect' with a slightly better chance if I hit the enter key and bring up the selection screen. But this doesn't work more than 60% of the time.

 

I've check a little on the support sites and there is an issue where clients crash to desktop, but that's not my issue. Any ideas?
