Priority 1: Prevent the chance of Zombie bites/scratches. Acquire armor quickly. Wear two sweaters and two pants. Priority 2: Survive for a long period of time. Food/Water/Shelter away from zombie hordes. Island or boat is optimal but a steep mesa or elevated building with no ground level entrances will do. Priority 3: Kill zombies. Light automatic rifles such as carbines or submachine guns are optimal for maximum damage/mobility/accuracy. Shotguns and pistols may lack stopping power at long range, therefore they are unsuitable for a cohesive perimeter defense. As close range personal defense weapons shotguns/pistols are effective. Swords/clubs/knifes/spears are probably ineffective as even the sharpest sword is unlikely to cleanly decapitate an enemy on the first swing. If animals are immune to zombism then it may be prudent to enlist the aid of hyenas or other large predators to take down the zombies.

Where I live (Orange County, California) property is ridiuclousy high (half a million usually). How would I go about establishing myself and how much you think I would need starting out? Is it advisable look into investing into properties in other states if its cheaper? If I do end up with properties in other states how should I go about managing them?

You should do what I do. Whenever I have a bad day at CS I go and drive over to my local grade school and pick a fight with the entire 5th grade class. I usually win because I yell out " you better back up foos, only one at a time!" and strangely enough they are actually dumb enough to fight me one at a time. Hope that helps you feel better...

In alot of Japanese and Korean films I see them using FAMAS (Clarion) alot as well as the FNP90. I've never seen the Galil (Defender) used in any films. In the TV show 24 I've seen the M4 (M16) and MP5 used alot. In Mr and Mrs Smith the movie I saw them use MP5's, M4's, and shotguns as well as automatic pistols which was pretty cool. The most popular guns in media are M4's, MP5's, AK-47's, FNP90, FAMAS, Desert Eagles, Duel Berretas (John Woo films), and Shotty's. Which makes me wonder WHY only certain guns are depicted in CS and others are left out? Is it based on guns actually used by any CT forces in the world today? Like the Galil to me seems like a weird choice to include in CS as well as the Sig Commando. The UMP gun seems also like a weird choice to include in the game as well.

Hey is there any compilation of real life pictures of the guns used in countstrike and their specs? Im not really a gun nut but Im just curious to see if any of these guns are actually used in real life and what countries favors what types of guns versus others.

Yeh, I tried that config out and it runs OK. But how do I restore everything back to default? The new config made me pretty dizzy after the first half hour or so and after an hour of playing I wanted to throw up. So how bout doing me a big favor guys and telling me how to undo all this.

Yeh, sign me up for backup for now. I'm not sure if I could make it but if theres still room by Friday I'd like a chance to get a crack at it if my schedule is favorable.

Hey to clarifiy: The above comment was just my attitude in general to camping. In Shortdogg's defense he does make an honest effort to complete the objectives but I think he likes to do it in his own time by his own rules (by showing off).

Well bottom line is you can play however you want, but many would consider completing the objectives to be the number one priority. Hypothetically if most your team is biased towards objective completion then they would no doubt feel frustrated if a team member hangs back till the clock runs out and never competes objectives. If your objective is to guard hostages or to guard bomb sites then camping is just fine but if your objective is to plant bomb or to rescue hostages then letting the clock run down seems counterproductive, to say the least, even if it means facing certain death. Some people have managed to pull victory out of some incredibly stacked odds in the end game; the point is that at least they tried. But with all the whining and moaning aside ultimately I say let people play how they want and derive fun however they want as long as they play fair.

If you camping was a real issue then perhaps drastic measures should be used. .. Maybe once a team loses all the losing team members automatically die. The extreme campers would be forced to try and complete objectives or risk dying and losing their weapons. That way there would be nothing to lose to try and plant/defuse/rescue.

Shorter time limit would not stop campers from camping. Shorter round limit would only limit the time the rushing Terrorists would enter CT camped choke points making their job harder. Alot of times a delayed rush after some of the more foolish CTs get picked off is better, but that requires some time. If you guys feel that a shorter round time would be needed then I suggest you make rounds 60 seconds long. Now that'll prove to be interesting as both teams literally have to crash into each other at terminal velocity.

The weapon stats never loads properly for me. Whats the dillyo? Whos topping out on TMP? Whaddabout the strange UMP gun? AND MOST IMORTANTLY OF ALL! WHOSE THE MASTER OF THE FLASHBANG KILLS?

I didn't say there were only two underdog maps... Probably there are several depending on preference.. I just meant that two unpopular maps in succession might be too much for most people.

Its a nice Mix. Not everyone will be pleased but who cares about those people anyways. Hook people in with the candy maps and toss in some variety every once and a while sounds good to me. As long as two underdog maps don't follow in succession it shouldn't be too bad.
