  1. I'm going to have to check out Serenity, a couple friends have mentioned its a good movie.
  2. Auto-balancer, as proposed by strangefamous sounds good to me.
  3. Speaking of Stats...I have a kudo to hand out...Last night the server froze on Cobble (as happens from time to time). You know when we're all standing there and can't move or buy weapons. ...well anyway, everyone goes into spectator mode Duma stays back as a CT and kills himself 10 times to get the server to change over. My point is duma added ten deaths to his stats, thank you Duma for being so selfless and not thinking about your stats and helping us enjoy the game, cheers for Duma! ...And it's not the first time I've seen him do that. Cheers, Klink
  4. Grats on the Marriage Brillow!
  5. My Fiancee and I were in Vegas in September for a few days. Here are some ideas and what we did that was good/bad. Vegas may be cheesy but man you really do forget the real world and work when you're there... The Good Bellagio - Stayed at the Bellagio, we got upgraded to a Lakeview room and had a good view of the fountains, they were amazing. You could even get the music from the fountains over the TV...we spent hours just watching the fountains from our room. Went to see 'O' the cirque du Soleil show at the Bellagio. It was simply AMAZING, you would not be disappointed if this is the only show you saw in Vegas. The stage is a technological wonder. Hoover Dam - About $50.00 to go to the Dam each and it will take about 6 hours but driving thru the desert is cool if you haven't done it before and the dam itself is a true world wonder. Shark Reef - Mandalay Bay's tanks are huge with awesome fish. Madame Tussaud's - The wax museum was great, overpriced (but everything in vegas is). I have great picture of me scoring over Shaq! Treasure Island "Sirens of TI" - This is the free show outside of Treasure Island, show is good (its free after-all). But get there early for a good viewing spot. Simply walking the strip is awesome. This was my first time to Vegas so we went into all the hotels and spent at least a dollar each on video poker or slots in each, great fun. The Bad Bellagio Buffet - For what you get I think it was over priced. I thought it would be an amazing buffet being the Bellagio but we went their once and didn't go back. Food in general- The best meals I had were all room service where the food was expensive, fresh and delicious. Otherwise, everything else was disappointing. I can't remember the restaurants but probably because they were so forgettable. Next time we go we will try some higher end places. Star Trek Experience - My fiancee loved it, I thought it was silly, I'm not a trekky she is, enough said. We also stopped at Quarks Bar afterward and had a warp core breach a huge drink with dry-ice in it. Klingons and other actors came around and chatted with us, again my fiancee was right into it. Thats it we did lots of little things that were fun gambled a ton and came out up about $100 bucks and drank ourselves silly while playing at the Bellagio slots, video poker and by the pool when we we're taking in a show or walking around. Good luck, hope you have fun. Cheers, Colonel Klink P.S. Bring your walking shoes.
  6. Loved the Rose Bowl this year, great, great game....Hopefully the NFL playoffs will pick up this next week, what a disappointing wild card week.
  7. Just curious what people’s fav movies from 2005 were? On the whole not a great year especially if you’re an action fan but my top 5 were... 1) Batman Begins - Great cast, a dark Batman, exactly what Batman should be. 2) Wedding Crashers - My fiancée dragged me to this, I thought it'd be a rental, wow was I wrong, funniest movie of 2005. 3) Crash - great storyline and awesome cast. 4) King Kong - I just thought it was a great popcorn movie, great visuals and good acting (except Jack Black who almost ruins it for me). 5) Sin City - People either love it or hate it, I love Frank Miller and this movie captures his dark comic book style. ...And most disappointing, for me...Star Wars Episode III .... I wanted more Vader and less Anakin. I still can't believe Vader only really shows up in the last scene, so disappointing. Trust me I wanted to like it, I really did but I just can't! Cheers, Klink
  8. Bland movie, from the previews I was expecting a lot better...King Kong was the best holiday movie this year.
  9. Well worth the wait for this stats package, it rocks. I especially like seeing where everyone is playing from on the server page. Kudos to gc... Cheers, Klink
  10. Thanks for the update. BTW, is there anyway to make it easier for real players to be zombies? I love playing the zombie side but usually don't get a chance unless lots of people are logged into the server. Having humans zombies helps reduce high ground campers too. Cheers, Colonel Klink
  11. I saw King Kong lst night and I have to disagree, I thought it was awesome. The action, imaginative locals and acting were great. A great popcorn movie imo, definately a must see.
  12. Thanks, sorry never saw the Zombie forum.
  13. Just thought I'd mention that Zombie Horde Server #5 hasn't been updated. I'm just mentioning it because I've never seen another GC in there and it might be an oversight....thanks...I do need to get my nightly zombie fix in. ...oh and for those of you that haven't tried the Zombie Horde server, it absolutely rocks!! Great fun and a nice change of pace from the regular servers, expecially when you have enough people to play human zombies instead of the bots. Cheers, Colonel Klink
  14. My own opinion is that I'd love to see lots more maps added to the rotation, especially for this upcoming Christmas season. I'm not a big fan of dust, aztec or Italy but I don't mind playing maps I don't like if they don't pop up once every five maps. Just curious if and when a new map rotation would be implemented? Cheers, Klink
  15. just my two cents... I'd like to see Assault and dust taken out...and I'd love to see train, de_haste and prodigy put in. Cheers, Colonel Klink
  16. After playing on the new server for about an hour tonight, I give it two big thumbs up - so far. Cheers, Colonel Klink
  17. Clearly I'm responding a little late to this thread but I love Fantasy Football, if anyone drops out I'd love to fill in and do a .gc league. Cheers, Colonel Klink
  18. I'm a huge Fantasy Football fan and I have 3 leagues that I've been in for 5, 6 and 10 years going. Here is my first draft of the year, in this league we do a straight snake draft no keeper league...what do you guys think (Drafting 6th)? Starters QB - T. Green - Round 3 RB - S. Alexander - Round 1 RB - J. Lewis - Round 2 WR - L. Coles - Round 4 WR - D. Driver - Round 5 WR - E. Moulds - Round 6 TE - E. Johnson - Round 11 K - R. Longwell - Round 13 Def - Buffalo - Round 9 Reserves QB - M. Hasselback - Round 10 RB - M. Bennett - Round 7 WR - D. Mason - Round 8 TE - D. Graham - Round 12 K - M. Nugent - Round 14 Def - Tampa Bay - Round 15 Cheers, Colonel Klink
  19. Awesome flick I just saw it last night. Wedding Crashers and Batman were the movie highlights fo the summer for me. Cheers, Klink
  20. This is my favorite server and I'd love to get a .gc tag and have a reserve spot, just curious how I'd go about doing that? Cheers, Colonel Klink
