Hay, i am starting to play alot more RTS games and i was wondering how many other people are into these kinds of games. Hawler back!

Yeah man i offically started working for left behind games I am now in the PR department. It's cool because our first game comes out this year!!!

I got offered an entry level PR position at a Upstart christian game develper. They have lots of promise but i would have to relocate and take a pay cut. I do real estate now, but my true passion is video games. I still dont know what to do but i need to answer them soon. if you guys dont mind please pray for me and for God to grant me the wisdom to make the right choice.

I'm really glad that I was made aware of this post by a fellow clan mate. Shiva, I was disappointed in your behavior when you where playing, and I'm disappointed by your behavior now. This post is not only defamatory, it down right deceitful. Shame on you. The fact of the matter is that on GC servers they try to encourage a good environment for people to enjoy themselves. They really do their best to remove anything that causes the kind of conflicts on other servers. I stand firm with what I said while we were playing. First and foremost I honestly didn’t even realize there was a problem at first, since I do joke with most of the people that play on the server (and most of them joke with me since it’s such a laid back environment.) But after a while I noticed that this guy was really serious and bothered by some really simple things, like what maps where in the rotations and why the admins wouldn’t change the map. (I think Steve was the admin on at the time.) But it started to rub me the wrong when Shiva continued on and on with his complaining. I asked him to stop several times and just play the game. In fact the admins that were on at the time asked for it all to stop. At which point I let it go. I even think that balance system switched him to another team for a while so I thought nothing of it. But then it started to get out of hand. He switched back to my team and continued with his complaining. At which point I knew that there was something wrong with this guy because it really became harassment. Finally I came to the point where even I was offended when he took his harassment to the next level and used friendly fire against me just to harass me. At that point I told him he needs to cut it out because I would get him banned. I love playing counter strike, but one thing that really ruins the experience for me is when people purposefully does things like that when they are bothered or are just not getting there way. I at no point mentioned my clan, nor do I expect any special treatment because I’m in any clan. But since I really care about the community and the players who come and play here. In fact, when the admins are not on the server I warn people about porn spray and fool language / conducted. I’m very sorry that I didn’t respond sooner as I normally spend most of my time in my clans forum and very little time on the rest of the GC forums. Anyone who plays with me knows that this is how I behave on the server. I ask that you speak with any and all admins on the server and ask them about my behavior. Lately I have been playing with Dunlavy and Steve quite a bit.

I dont really think so. When i joined tWc i was ranked 5th on west. But keep playing, your stats should go up.

Ok i was playing CSS last night and everything was going grand intill a friend told me to change my rate. My defualt was "9999" and i changed to to "25000". When that happened the world went wacky. My choke went super high to 150 and my ping trippled. So i set it back to 9999. But the choke didnt go away. I also tried several different servers. What i see is that the game runs normal for 2 seconds, then lags for another 3 seconds which looks i'm getting a rubberband effect. I then updated to the latest version of DX and tried the lastest NGO Nvidia drivers. That did nothing. I uninstalled and reinstallled Half life and CSS. Still no good. I had a spare OS i keep as back up to see if my Hardware was the problem. But on the spare OS the game plays just fine. I'm running Winxp pro with all the updates, on a amd64 3800, 1gb of OCZ ram, and a nvidia 6800 ultra. I am fresh out of ideas and i dont really want to reinstall Windows just to play CS. Does any one have any ideas how to fix this.

I think its great that hter is a christian forum here, and that everyone is cool with it. Alot of people in the game industry can be hostile toward religion. SO any how keep it up guys!

This is tWc|Firestarter. i was just banned from the west server... But i think it was by mistake.. STEAM UserID STEAM_0:1:5455749 is banned. Can someone PLEASE fix this... grr after waiting 2 hours to get in ...

When im playing cs the voices of people over the mic echo and my voice sounds wierd to them... it used to work just fine. any ideas?

Are you sure you were on a GC server? [VI] Lazarus is not an admin with GC according to my latest list. Was there anyone else there with a gc tag? In response you your kick, if the admin felt that you breached the rules and kicked you, would you not understand that you should not breach the rules again? Further, did you not read the big banner when you joined the server explaining to you that we don't debate our rules? We are honoured that you chose to visit us on our servers. All we ask is that our guests respect our rules. We don't swear or cuss while in our servers. How do you block a word that is associated with so many others?? Perhaps we can assist you with this or did you assume that the filters are really that good? Can you assimilate this information? I am not trying to assault your intelligence. Can I assuage you from this argument? Just follow our simple rules and we would love to have you play on our servers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasnt debating your rules i just want to understand them.

I was playing on what i think is the second server 3 (when the first server 3 is to full) Anyways i started playing and i said "Now that I got off the phone i can kick some donkey" when someone said watch your mouth (I didnt know he was an admin because he didnt have gc next to it). I then asked whats wrong with the word "donkey" If it was bad word the filter would have caught it. So then be boots me. Now i realize he is an admin that i have not seen before. So i log back on and ask if there is a place online i can check for ban words (so i dont make the same mistake) and he says no, its common sense, you dont say thing you cant say in front of childern. Well i guess its not common sense because i didnt think it was a bad word, I've said donkey at work to my boss, and ive said it infront of childern with no problems. So i say something like i dont get it because i say that in front of kids all the time. So he decided to boot me again without explaining anything. I wasnt trying to cause problems, i just want to understand. If i was being rude or yelling at him i would understand but i would hope an admin would be cool enough to explain things espeically since it seems like the rules are made up on a wim. The admins handle is [VI] Lazarus. What can i do?
