Capturing the western hemisphere would be great since there's very little that can get us there. Austrailia is also a very strategic point. But the sad thing about this tourney is that we don't get to choose where to attack. It is chosen for us. Oh well. We'll see how things go.

Yeah, its been proven many versions ago that an mp5 does horribly against armored chest shots. Something like a 50% reduction in damage.

TaPe is one of the few ppl I know that'll bust out a scout or a mac10 in match play when he has 16000 in the bank.

1. True, but smart people analyze how much space they really need and aim to get the most bang for the buck. For instance, going from 80GB to 100GB could be a hundred dollars while going from 60GB to 80GB might be only $25. 2. The same applies to this as #1. People go ahead and spend $600 to get the fastest CPU only to recognize that they have to replace it in 2 years when they could have bought a CPU that lets you play the same games at the same FPS for $200 and woulda need replacement in 1 year and 9 months. 3. Those who need to record large amounts of data. Do you know expensive a 40GB digital recorder is? 4. Depends on the line of work. There are needs for FTP and streaming media at work, especially in businesses that can sport a good and savvy technology department. Some say it is not the users that stunt the growth of technology but overzealous and overparanoid technologists themselves.

Those who are in, reply here. This will be a pub like environment. We will use this opportunity to get used to the maps and then have a separate scrim for practice.

As soon as the map is decided and our surrounding territories. I say lets call a 2 hour practice session on CsLs this sunday at game time. We will basically go through the map rotation. Given 30 minute map times, that's 4 maps. We do this every week until the season starts. It will should be the backups vs the starters unless the teams are set for the next match. Practices will only be good if there's at least a 4on4. Since matches are 6on6, a minimal 4on4 practice is necessary. So if we can't even get 8 to show up every sunday, we will need more players to join CCC.

I was the person he had a problem with. He FF'd me on purpose and I got ticked off and FF'd him back. He then tk'd me the next round at spawn, which of course made me tk him back the next. So I thought I should cool it and just take the next hit and move on. But then he started with the obscenities. Maybe I should be banned from Plat for FF'ing back in the first place. Btw, he and his teammate tk'd half the CT team before they left.

I dont think about it all that often. Maybe that's the problem...it hasn't been on my mind enough to go and do those things I said I will do this weekend. I am fortunate as well. My family is safe and my close friends are safe. I'm just kinda reelin from the overload of today. One can't escape it at all today. You see it on everyone's face. It's everywhere....streets, office, bathroom, watercooler, tv, Bush in town, GF being extra nice today...etc. So one can't help but reflect. But you are wrong in one sense, the tragedy IS your own. Each American should feel this way.

A year has gone by... I drive past it from time to time and I sometimes walk around near Battery Park (a few blocks away). I remember that day very clearly. I was trapped across the bridge while my family and friends were on the other side. Cell phones were down, phone lines were down. We couldn't talk to anyone, didn't know if our friends and family were ok. To witness something like this is pretty scary. To witness a few buddies from your buddy list log off of AIM a few moments after the collapse. I guess am lucky since I didn't go to work that day (I dont work in the WTC). But anyways, I still havent went down there to see it. It's pretty hard to do so. I've walked near it a hundred times but never went to see it. I hear these days that the shops around there are still open. Some haven't cleared the debris at all, but rather just encased it. Some have lost their entire customer base but yet stay open to defy the terrorists of anything extra. I haven't visited those shops either. A friend of mine lives 4 blocks away from there and I haven't went to visit him in quite some time. I was there yesterday, 2 blocks away, having a few drinks with friends. But I purposely drove the other way on my way out of the area. But a year has gone by. I'm going to go see it this weekend. I'll say my farewells to a few friends. Maybe I'll buy something from a store or two. Eat at a diner that I used to go to a while back. I guess that's what I'll do. What will you?
