Posting this from Linspire... I downloaded it in 2 hours last night and threw it on a spare P3 1.2 GHz with a *snickers* Voodoo4 4500. Everything worked perfectly on the first try, total install took me about 30 minutes. It looks pretty easy to use considering I'm a total Linux noob.

I have had an 8-port linksys router similar to that one for about a year and a half and it has worked perfectly... even though it was stuck in a box in the wall with the cable modem, with no ventilation.

Found this when looking up your "hypothetical" situation... So "if" this was you, could you just go into MS Dashboard, Settings, Time and set the clock, since you said it only does this sometimes when it randomly reboots? The program I use to do this is called "Alcohol 120%" check it out, they have a trial version. It creates a fake dvd/cd drive in windows and mounts an image to it.
