sold it about a month ago or so; upgraded to the D90 body only[found a steal deal so i bought it haha], and kept my extra lenses I didnt sell w/ the D60

woot woot grats! , i loved that body, served me great while it lasted... shoulda came to me sooner, had the body w/kit lens +_4gb mem+tripod+wireless remote+carrying bag and sold it for $380. hehe

whats everyones steam name that plays l4d? im lookin for more ppl to play with/ I usually play 'vs' or survival'

i am both on my media centre and my main rig. my dad is using it on his main computer. he came from xp. so far he likes it except he's had to compatibility mode install a few of his legacy programs. as far as he's told me he's got most everything up and running. i believe you can upgrade from vista to 7 fairly seamlessly. i went from beta to rc pretty easily. just had to re-install my sound driver. how would i go about upgrading to w7 frm vista?

what about as for your programs? were they all able to work fine as well? cuz i have alot photoshop cs3, macromedia and what not, and i jus wanna make sure they all work before i replace vista 64x w/ w7 64x

so are ya guys using the RC as your main OS now or are ya'll multi? thinkin of replacin my vista 64x prem. w/ it; jus wondering if I do, i'll have to reinstall all my programs again such as all the adobe programs, anyone know if i do?

I downloaded all the drivers from their website, is that a normal score for the spec i have tho? or u think it should be higher? Oh, ok. Honestly, I dont put a LOT of stock into those benchmarks. How do your games run? According to the site you should be a little higher, but I've never used that program before. Sorry. all my games run perfectly, all settings on high and such, gives me no problems...how much higher does it say it should be at? and were they stock i7's? link please? =)

That was sept.22 08. Yeah, you're not using stock drivers etc are you? all my settings are on stock, no overclock or anything and u used 3DMark06...I also ran that after using 'vantage' and got a higher score compared to using 3DMarkVantage, my score for the '06' was 14986 *I used Vantage cuz it seems to be the latest one for benchmarkin/?* and I also expected it to be higher. ill do some more test when I get it OC'd after the aftermarket cooler comes in.

how hott? O.o well, i'll probably get an aftermarket cooler soon so probably get it down some more, hopefully around 15-20 idle...it idles at 35 right nowv how cold is your house? if you want to idle around 15-20 then you'll be sitting in 10c temps... after market cooler won't help your idle at stock much. but it sure will cool it better oc'ed. our place is pretty chill, got the AC runnin all day; then again the case has 6fans in em runnin at med speed. so keepin em cool....runs around 35-36 while browsing/listinin to music and gets to about 40-43 playing counterstrike....idle mode, it sits at 30-32.
