  1. That guy's TFR|BleedingSnow by the way (aka marshmallow); he's done a ton of speedruns, like Goldeneye, Turok, bomberman, Half-life 2, just to name a few.
  2. Anyway, feel free to post your final four and any upsets you think might happen. Right now I have UNC, Syracuse, Illinois, and Wake Forest w/ the Illini winning it all. No huge upsets in the first round, but a few 10's beating 7's, and I have Washington losing to Pitt the second round
  3. I added Lindsay Lohan to my cell phone! Too bad she probably just got a new number, oh well. It still looks cool!
  4. I found this pretty interesting Compare this: http://salestores1.com/inlplcdpr10x.html to this: http://softwaregrabber.com/39808.html Supposedly people are buying a ton of these and trying to sell them for loads of cash on eBay. It'll be pretty fun if this gets corrected and get charged thousands of dollars on their credit cards. What a hassle to go through
  5. I absolutely love my N64, but without that I choose Super Nintendo! That's when I got into gaming, and some of the games I played back then (some I still do!) were: Donkey Kong Country 1,2,3 Super Mario World Super Mario Kart Zelda Link to the Past Super Metroid - although I had to get this one on emulator I played it through at least 10 times Techmo Super Baseball Mario RPG just to name a few...
  6. We're actually getting close to the 2 hour mark, if anyone's still interested. We've cut off HUGE chunks of time, especially in the coast and ravenholm.
  7. This is actually done by good ol' TFR|BleedingSnow! We've been playing this nonstop since we're done with CS. A new run will come out in another month or so which will be under 2:30 at the least!
  8. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Northern IL would probably cost about 15K where as Indiana would cost about 28K without any scholarships, but I'd plan to get at least 5-6K a year if I were to go there.
  9. Well I'm a senior in high school right now and I've applied to and been accepted at Iowa State U, IL state, Northern IL, and Indiana U. I live in the Chicagoland area, and I want to major in accounting and maybe go into finance or something (definitely become a CPA). I think I have it narrowed down to Indiana U and Northern IL but I'm really not sure where to go. I don't think I'd be too comfortable in a giant school like Indiana, but I hear they have an excellent business program. On the other hand, it's about 4 hours away and I may get homesick easily (never really been away on my own for very long). I hear Northern IL has a good business school too and is only an hour away. Any suggestions or advice anyone can give me on what school to choose out of the previous ones mentioned based on what I've said so far? I'd really appreciate it, as this is a big decision
  10. Intel P4 Processer 1.6 ghz 768 mb ram GeForce 2 64 MB card Still runs nicely as long as there aren't too many players on the screen, or smokes, etc. The stress test gave me a 42 average, but I can go anywhere from 120 looking at a door, to 20 fps while looking at a large portion of the level all at once.
  11. If you're using ventrilo, go into setup and check off "Use DirectInput to detect Hotkey"
  12. Actually I have it figured out. I'm probably gonna become an Accountant.. CPA. So I'm probably gonna go to either Northern, Southern, or ISU. I dont need anymore suggestions; my future it all set!
  13. Well I need to start applying for colleges soon and was thinking about some schools in-state in Illinios. I think I want to major in Computer Engineering, but I'd like someone who's someone knowledgeable in that field to tell me what that course entails... is it like Computer Science with a programming aspect. I wasn't too interested in learning Java or C++ in high school, so is Comp Engineering still for me? I want to work with computers, and learn about hardware/software development and that sort. If this all doesn't work out I'll probably end up choosing to major in Business or do Accounting or some such. Thanks.
  14. Hmmm, alrirght. But if I go with a 9800 pro (since I only have a 1.6 P4) will I be able to use the card to its full extent? Or will I have poor frames or lag since the computer is only 1.6 ghz? Keep in mind that I do have 768 ram. I'm not sure what's important between ram and processor speed.
  15. Well I've been looking on BestBuy.com and the 9800 PRO is around $240. And the ATI - RADEON 9600 SE Graphics Card is only $120 and looks pretty nice. It'll be a big step up anyway, and I'm leaning toward that.
