  1. Good point. That price is more around the $24k+ tag.
  2. Kelly Blue Book shows a 2005 Ford F250 with 80k miles should be around $15k.
  3. I wish I did. I just read up on what bands are doing meet and greets and I make sure to show up. I've met around 35 or so bands this way. Not to mention I've seen over 200 bands live. I also own a crap load of music equipment including an electric guitar, bass guitar, pa system, effects pedals, and mics. I'm looking to buy a drum set next month and then I'll have a full band setup for jam sessions. I'm just a music junkie.
  4. Yah I saw Rise Against live about 2 years ago. They are very energetic on stage. I also met them that day. Very nice guys. They signed my "The Sufferer & the Witness" CD.
  5. She has a great voice. It sounds like a soft version of Alanis Morissette or Dido to me. I commend her for finger picking her guitar too. It isn't easy.
  6. I just got back from this event. Tomorrow is Chicago's last chance to meet Maynard James Keenan. He's ONLY signing wine bottles by the way. I asked him if he could sign my Tool CD and he said "No, sorry buddy, only wine bottles but thanks for coming out and waiting in line." So, I ended up with 2 signed bottles. Oh well, I'll just need to figure out some way to frame and display them. CD booklets are so much easier to frame.
  7. The show was last friday and NIN were amazing live. I must admit I'm a little sad to know this is their last tour because I would love to see them live again.
  8. Speaking of Lola bands. Tool is one of the headliners this year. Maynard from Tool is going to be signing autographs of his new Wine Bottles in Chicago this Friday and Saturday. Yes, a musician turned wine maker. I'm going to the Friday signing. Unlike the NIN signing last weekend, this one is "free." (You only need to buy a bottle of wine @ about $25).

    Fun website

http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix Just click in the boxes and this site will help you make your own music. It's pretty fun!
  10. No problem. *Edit* Since no one has expressed interest in the Meet&Greet/Soundcheck, we can close this topic. I guess I'll just be going to the show with my girlfriend.
  11. I sent a PM to SJ, but have not heard back yet. Is no one interested?
  12. Update: My girlfriend doesn't mind if I take someone else to the show, so as long as you want to do this and have the time, let me know and hopefully we can set this up sometime today or tomorrow.
  13. Hey.... So I have 2 tickets to the Chicago show for Nine Inch Nails this Friday, May 29th, at Charter One Pavilion. I was planning on taking my girlfriend to the show originally. The problem is that she works until 4pm, so she wouldn't be able to make the Meet&Greet. If nobody is interested, I'll just go to the show with my girlfriend and skip the Meet&Greet + Soundcheck. The doors for the show itself don't open until 6:30pm. This past week NIN posted information about a Meet & Greet plus Soundcheck you can attend prior to the show if you donate $300 to a help some guy get a heart transplant. I've never paid money for a Meet & Greet, but I figured this is for a good cause. To clear this up: That's $300 for 2 people. $150 each. I'm willing to pay for the full $300 if someone here wants to come with me (concert ticket included). This is unless you want to help pay for half ($150) . This donation does not include the tickets, but I already have 2 tickets paid off so you don't need to worry about that. Here's the info from the NIN site: http://store.nin.com/helperic/ So.... if you're interested PM me and you NEED to be free in the Chicago area this Friday afternoon. I would like to be at the venue at 4pm since the Soundcheck starts at 4:30pm (They're doing a ONE HOUR soundcheck PLUS a 2 hour set for the Chicago show ONLY). Tuesday night (tomorrow) is the deadline for the Chicago show donations, so post up or PM me asap if you're interested.

  16. Paris Hilton is the same way Paris Hilton Link
  17. Free "trial period" today only. It expires at midnight. In addition, you could buy it today for 40% off. If you chose not to, the game will not work on your PC tomorrow.
  18. Voted for Skimmer, but you're down by 40 some votes at the moment.
  19. GJ! It sounds like you got into a good job market.
  20. Not really... If you just keep clicking on the same color (I used Green for example) you will end up with most of the same photos in the end. It just seems that this site used a different photo to represent each and every different shade of every color so in the end you'll end up with 1,000's of pictures making one large picture; however, there is repetition of course when using the same shades.
  21. I LOVED the game Zombie Revenge for the Dreamcast haha. It had the worst translation from a Japanese game to American I have ever seen. And I LOVED that cheezy song they would play during the basically ENTIRE game haha. [utube]ci0-evGe070[/utube] lol.... the crazy guy who no one understands is in this video: [utube]GcS-XZppKww[/utube] Has anyone else beaten this game? I would always play as the crazy shirtless guy who spoke a language no no one could understand haha. Oh and when time was running out.... that was the best lmao. THERE'S NO TIME!
  22. Such beautiful voices under such ugly people.
