dang, i can't log in now. just stays on the "Authenticate" thingy for a bit then says "Cant log in" or whatever. kinda lame but im still stoked about the warrior changes.

Anyone hear about this? Kinda sucks, in my opinion. I was so psyched when I saw NFL 2k5 being sold for 20 bucks that I bought a copy even though I don't care for console games anymore. thanks for posting that zeabos. ive been waiting so long for these movies to come out. i agree with dweez, check out dirk gently series too. he also made an educational CD-Rom on endangered animals which is also very entertaining. there is a place to download it for free, if only i could remember where.

i'd be down for that. i probably will be done with the game by this summer though but who knows. im starting to get bored with my lvl 47 warrior on a PvE server. im thinking of just moving to a PvP server to re-roll on horde side. i know we got some horde PvPers on here, what server are most of you on?

sorry to hear that bro right now i'm doing the laundry and packing my bags. my flight to jacksonville is at 3 o clock. my dad has been going for the past 30 years or so and i go sporadically (been to bout 7 superbowls) but it always seems i pick the best games to go to. 3 or 4 of the games i've been to have been some of the greatest superbowls of all time. so if tradition holds true, we'll be in for a helluva barn burner.

hit 40 last night with my warrior. it'll be a while before i get mounted though. got a 14 druid too, that im gonna lvl when i get my mount.

why communism wont work: every person is different. communism makes the basic assumption everybody is the same. i.e. some people are more intelligent than others. are we going to make all the geniuses work in factories making widgets? that would be a waste of brain power from people who could be curing cancer or composing beautiful music or discovering new scientific theories. to me, thats the most inherent flaw in communism and why it kinda sucks.

well, yeah thats a big question, what will happen to vinyl? there will still be reissues of older albums on vinyl, im pretty sure of it. but new recorrds put out on vinyl? that will probably die out soon. there is a niche market of out there for new albums on vinyl but who knows how long that trend will last before the nostalgia of owning records fades. ive been reading posts on the TapeOp message board and there may be hope yet. There are many people in the industry who are not going to take this lying down (neil young anyone? he wouldnt let his albums be mastered digitally until recently). I personally like analog better than digital (ive used both and sitting at my computer recording music just wasnt my thing) but one is not inherently better than the other. digital has contributed to cutting costs and making it easier for Joe Schmo to record his music and get it out there... but then again, do we really want that?

Well, today the company Quantegy closed it doors. They were the last manufacturer of tape for open reel to reels, a slowly dying medium for recording music. I was in the process of buying a reel to reel recorder for my basement studio and this seriously put a dent in it. 1/2 " tape (whcih is what i need) is now 20 dollars more per reel than it was last week! man, i should've listened to the rumors and horded a bunch of tape. A lot of big studios are digital now, I think this is going to affect the smaller studios and home studios who are still recording to tape which sucks a lot. I have a feeling this is not going to be good for music in a broad sense.

id probably do that if i wasnt scarred by CD wallet books.... I left my car open in a bad neighborhood and someone stole it, all 200 CDs or so. I hope they're happy with my Charlie Rich and Creedence Clearwater CDs thats why now i always rip new CDs I buy to my computer.

If we went by the beatitudes, it would seem Jesus would like something of a socialistic system, maybe even a full-fledged communistic government. i dont know. i dont think he would be a supporter of capitalism, a system based on greed and the want of money and obtaining objects. that list is too cut and dry in its definitions of "government" i.e. capitalism (although connected to type of government) is not per se a type of government, its an economic system. interesting. maybe its just me, but if im gonna spend at least 10 bucks on a CD i want it to come with a case and i want to see the pretty album cover art and be able to un-fold and read the lyric sheet if the case may be.

I think the company was Gearbox. Hopefully they come out with an expansion where you get to play as the Combine. That would be cool. I'd buy that if if I could manage to pull myself away from WoW.

I would suggest you don't use Kazaa. There are many problems associated with it (viruses, spyware, etc...) Get Soulseek. Hands down the best P2P music sharing system. It's free, there is no spyware, NO ADVERTS, no nothing. I listen to a lot of obscure music, and I find stuff on here that I could never get off of Kazaa. www.slsknet.org

!!! I just was going through my processes and checking that website and it turns out I've got this running: rundll32.exe, which according to that website is a sign that "You have one of the W32.Miroot.Worm / W32/Legemer.Worm / W32.HLLW.Sanker viruses (or another virus)." I just ran a virus scan too and it didn't pick this up. guess ill try again.
