I accidentally press the chat key often because it is right next to my movement keys. That and I have enormous sausage-like fingers. But it may be people just pressing it accidentally because it is default "F", which is right next to the strafe right key.

The firewall in my router blocks the irc port and I am too lazy to fix it. Bah.

Woo, spider mine spammage! We need to practice our strategery with a locked server or something? Node assignments, groups, freelancers, and whatnot.

It depends...I have a whack schedule, but if it is after 8pm central time, I should be availible.

I wonder if two-fort is a remake of the team fortress classic map...hrm. I pwned that game!

We might want to include a message outlining those rules when a person enters the server.

I played for about 2 hours today and had hardly any lag...server was nearly full. It was great!

Do we have enough people to organize an intra-clan scrimmage? Or should we talk with one of the other clan peeps and organize an inter-clan scrimm? I was playing with {BR}Spectra and {BR}RulezZz, and have seen plenty of others from other clans visit our server...that would be a great place to start to develop some teamwork without making it a ladder game.

Anything that pulls me away from the computer; showering, eating, sleeping, etc. Homework, funerals, bar mitzvahs I can usually get out of, so they really aren't a problem.

I have a pretty short-term memory, but it was nearly unplayable today with 20 people on ArcticStronghold. It wasn't just me, people kept saying "laggg" or "This lag is terrible" and whatnot. Sometimes it isn't so bad when there are less people, but I am not sure if this server can support 20 players.

I give one vote for frostbite, would have mentioned it before prieval, but I couldn't remember the name.

Blah I have school until August 7th and I work. Trying to graduate college in 3 years = bad idea. Haven't been in the server for a couple of days...

Rocket launcher, of course, and a tie between shock rifle and flak cannon for second. Wait, no, my favorite weapon is the manta...haha.

I would say replace valarna with a small map like primeval or a custom map. I prefer faster games.

My voice chat still isn't working, so I don't catch anything that way...I have seen some bad language typed but not much and not to an abusive point.

Yeah, my ranking dropped from 400 to 220 after playing for 1 hour...I dont understand how it is formulated, is it on a daily basis?

I still wish Quake 2 would run on Windows XP....*sigh*.

I am also one of the original UT players, but never really got into it online because I lacked a cable connection and it was a bit shallow. But with games like Counterstike, which I used to play somewhat extensively, I found that the pace was way too slow and levels always resorted to some sort of camping after one or both teams lost most of their players...it became an exercise on who could "wait it out" the longest. Although UT2K4 isn't perfect by any means (I loathe the leviathan, and people love to "whore it up" with the goliath), I love the fast pace of the game, making camping not worth the effort. The emphasis is placed on movement rather than aim. But I still miss the original UT sniper rifle...I remember popping off heads from across the map without zooming in...now that is satisfaction! EDIT: Ok, maybe camping is a problem...there was someone camping with an AVRIL and spider mines at a node for the entire map in arcticstronghold...he wouldn't budge, forcing an overtime game twice.

It also doesn't factor in frags per hour, which I think is the most important stat...

I have the same problem...teamspeak just isnt working any more.

Another night of missed sleep...oh well!

For somer reason, I can't hear anyone's voices when they are using voice chat....I know I can be heard, though... I have it enabled, so I don't know what is wrong...anybody else having this problem?
