Zester, I had the same problem about a year and a half after I bought mine. You will need to remove 4 screws on the bottom of the usb module where you control the on/off, remove the cover and solder the pins on the circuit board for both connectors. I would suggest getting someone who knows how to use the mini soldering iron because the pins are really tiny and close together. If this seems like a hassle, you can always pick up cheap new pair of headphones.
