The pins inside eventually get loose over time due to the solder melting a bit and loosing it's hold from the circuit board or frequent disconnects of the cable will also jiggle the pins and cause it to not make contact. Ok, I've said a mouthful. Now back to watching the U.S. Open. oops, don't think I ans your question heh. Soldering the cable directly to the board without using the connectors would be the last resort option because you would end up having to worry about accidentally pulling the cable and ripping out the board if that happens.

Zester, I had the same problem about a year and a half after I bought mine. You will need to remove 4 screws on the bottom of the usb module where you control the on/off, remove the cover and solder the pins on the circuit board for both connectors. I would suggest getting someone who knows how to use the mini soldering iron because the pins are really tiny and close together. If this seems like a hassle, you can always pick up cheap new pair of headphones.

Sup guys! I popped in to spec on nep and this guy .:MC:.Durza player id 1479953 was just going off trying to avoid the swear filter and basically not respecting any other player. When the other ppl ingame mentioned his behavior, it just seemed to boost his attitude. I won't post what this person said but the admins can check the logs. Thanks.
